Eat\, drink\, and be smart – that’s our motto! \nThis month our speakers are exploring the topic “Love/Sex/Life.” Our lineup includes brilliant minds from all over the place: we have Dino Foxx from San Antonio\, Madeline Harris from Los Angeles\, Louisa Jackson Spaventa and Coco Lectric from Austin\, and Jenny Block and Pashionata Fair from Dallas. They’ll be exploring our topic through various lenses\, including sexuality\, education\, cultural critique\, literature\, and resiliency.  \n6 speakers. 12 minutes each. The Young Professionals Advisory Council is a unique giving circle for young professionals (45 and under) who are passionate about providing opportunities for life skills\, leadership development\, peer support\, and educational advancement to LGBTQ youth in the Dallas area. \nWhat the Young Professionals Advisory Council does?\nThe Young Professionals Advisory Council raises money to specifically support the Youth First program at Resource Center. All of the funds raised through membership are allocated to the Youth First programming and members are encouraged to produce fundraising and friendraising events throughout the year to raise additional funds.

What goes on in the rodeo is as awful as it is hard to believe\, infant calves roped by the neck at speeds up to 20mph\, bulls being shocked with electric prods and having their tails broken so they will appear ferocious for the crowd\, horses forced to perform unnatural and extremely dangerous stunts often leading to fatal leg & spinal cord injuries.
