On Saturday, March 11, the Dallas County Republican Party is hosting a fundraiser at the Omni Hotel in Downtown Dallas at which Donald Trump Jr. and Sen. Ted Cruz will be speaking. We are trying to mobilize our community in an effort to push back not just against these corrupt and wealthy businessmen and politicians but against the violent systems that they represent. We would like this event to serve as a mechanism through which different communities and organizations can come together to peacefully fight for our collective liberation.

I’d like to encourage everyone to use public transportation to go to the event if they can. If you’re planning on taking light rail, I’d suggest arriving at Union Station, it’s about a 7 minute walk to the Omni Hotel from there.

This will be a peaceful demonstration. There will likely be increased security around the hotel. We should remain on sidewalks and avoid blocking entrances to the hotel. Please do not bring any weapons or firecrackers or anything that could harm other attendees. Organizers are not responsible for any personal injuries or property damage caused by individuals at the event.
