Welcoming Communities resolution vote – #DallasCounty4All

February 7, 2017 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Join us in urging the Dallas County Commissioner’s Court to pass a “Welcoming Communities” resolution. These times require us to come together and take a stand.

We must ensure that Dallas County is a community that is safe, welcoming, and stands on principles of rejecting anti-Blackness, racial profiling in policing, police brutality that impacts Black, Brown, LGBTQ, immigrant and refugee people in our community. We expect our law enforcement agencies to respond to the needs of our community and respect all residents, documented and undocumented, to ensure safety for all marginalized people.

Join us at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at the Dallas County Commissioners Court to urge the Commissioners to take a stand and pass the “Welcoming Communities” Resolution. There will be a press conference after the vote, so please stick around if you can!

If you cannot make the meeting call the Commissioners and urge them to pass the “Welcoming Communities” Resolution.
