TPI Healthcare Committee Interim Meeting – May 23, 2016

In considering options around the loss of services and subsequent cancelling of the Health Fair, the Healthcare Committee decided that we would host a series of forums!
The first is expected to be July 21 around relationships and healthy dynamics in relating to your partners.
The plan is to follow this with sexual health for trans and gender diverse persons.
Topics also under consideration include the other topics we would have considered for the health fair: binder safety, packers, and STPs; spiritual health; food security and nutrition; substance use safety; mental health; and reproductive health. All will depend on community resources and sources of expertise.
Come get involved, add your expertise, request to do a presentation, socialize with the committee participants, and help plan forums that are meaningful to you and your friends! If you have a different topic you want to cover, come discuss and let’s see how we can work it in!
Open to all. Committee meetings always include time for everyone to discuss issues and problems going on in their lives in a safe environment.
