Socialist Reading Group

The Socialist Reading Group is a project of Democratic Socialists of America, the Denton County Green Party, and the International Socialist Organization. We see the group as a space where comrades from different traditions and backgrounds, as well as people who might not yet identify as a socialists but are curious socialist politics, to come together to learn with and from one another.
This meeting we will be discussing the Summer 2017 issue of Jacobin Magazine entitled “Earth, Wind, & Fire.” The discussion will center around the violence of fossil capital, solutions to the climate crisis, and climate justice.
