Trump’s election is a shocking and dangerous turn of events. His platform criminalizing immigrants, his contempt for women and vow to restrict abortion, and his nationalistic ‘law and order’ fervor has already emboldened the far right. Racist, sexist, and homophobic attacks have risen since his election. His agenda threatens to further impoverish the lives of millions of people throughout the world.
But people throughout the US and the world are taking a stand. Protests, rallies, walk-outs, and marches have erupted throughout the US and throughout the world. Whether Trump gets away with his crimes will be determined by millions of ordinary people willing to take a stand against his regime.
Join the ISO for this forum to discuss and debate why Trump won and how we can beat back his right wing attacks while building a badly needed left wing alternative.
