Kids For Economic Justice Workshop

School’s out! Working parents, take a break! Everyone deserves a summer vacation, but not everyone who works to sustain their family can afford it.

This Saturday, we are hosting an arts and writing workshop for children of all ages to make drawings and write letters to the Mayor of Houston, Sylvester Turner, for family sustaining wages, benefits, Second Chance jobs and affordable housing.

You are welcome to drop off your kids with us on Saturday for a fun and interactive workshop. (We are looking for adult volunteers to help supervise the kids as well.) ¡El verano ya esta aqui! Y los Padres pueden descansar.
Todos merecemos tener y disfrutar las vacaciones de verano, pero desafotunadamente para muchos Padres trabajadores esto no esposible por que no tienen el dinero o el tiempo para hacerlo.

Este sábado, tenemos un taller de arte y escritura para los niños de todas las edades haremos cartas y dibujos para nuestro Alcalde Sylvester Turner, mandandole un mensaje de la necesidad que tenemos por salarios que sostengan a la familia, beneficios, trabajos de segundas oportunidades y vivienda accesible.

Ustedes pueden dejar sus niños con nosotros el sábado para un taller divertido e interactivo. (Buscamos voluntarios (adultos) también para ayudarnos cuidar a los niños.)
