Judge Hanen Protest Trip to Ft. Worth

Los residentes de Houston están viajando a Ft. Worth en el 17 de junio para una acción para apoyar las personas indocumentadas. El juez Andrew Hanen (Brownsville, TX) empezó el mandato en contra de los programas de reforma migratoria, DAPA y DACA+, que amenaza las vidas millones de familias indocumentadas en los EEUU.

El juez Hanen recibirá un reconocimiento para su trabajo como “Juez sobresaliente” por Texas Bar Association en Ft. Worth el 17 de junio. Vamos a protestar este reconocimiento porque los tejanos y tejanas de Houston no apoyan odio en contra de inmigrantes indocumentadas.

Salimos de Houston para Ft. Worth en la mañana y regresamos en la noche. Todos, especialmente los niños y jóvenes, están invitadas de participar con nosotros.

Houstonians are going to Ft. Worth on June 17th for an action to stand with undocumented people. Judge Andrew Hanen (Brownsville, TX), started the anti-immigration reform injunction against DAPA and DACA+, which threatens the lives of millions of undocumented families in the US.

Judge Hanen will receive an award for “Outstanding Jurist” by the Texas Bar Association in Ft. Worth on June 17th. We’re going to protest his award because Houstonians do not stand for anti-immigrant hate.

We’re heading out from Houston to Ft. Worth in the morning and coming back in the evening. Everyone, including children and youth, are welcome to join us.
