Healthcare Committee Meeting

The Healthcare Committee is working on the first of a series of forums around trans healthcare, healthy relationships, and healthy living! If we can get more people involved, we will also start planning another health fair!

For the forums, the first is expected to be on the topic of relationships and healthy dynamics relating to your partners.

The plan is to follow this with sexual health for trans and gender diverse persons.

Forums also under consideration include the other topics we consider for our health fairs: binder safety, packers, and STPs; spiritual health; food security and nutrition; substance use safety; mental health; and reproductive health. All will depend on community resources and sources of expertise.

Come get involved, add your expertise, request to do a presentation, socialize with the committee participants, and help plan forums that are meaningful to you and your friends! If you have a different topic you want to cover, come discuss and let’s see how we can work it in!

Open to all. Committee meetings always include time for everyone to discuss issues and problems going on in their lives in a safe environment.
