Good Jobs Press Conference

Houston continues to pressure Mayor Turner to pass our Financial Policies Ordinance for family sustaining wages, benefits, second chance jobs and affordable housing.
We’re releasing a report card for the city of Houston in terms of its economic development. Can people survive on $7.25/hour? Do the formerly incarcerated deserve to have a job? Do people deserve dignity and respect on the job?
Our press conference will take place in front of one of Houston’s newest developments: a luxury mall (location TBA) with designer brands and high end apartments. We need Good Jobs instead!
