Connect. Organize. Change.
The timing couldn’t be better for a film about the power of protest.

You’ll find the film brilliant in scope, humorous, and achingly sad as this powerful film begins in Selma with the Civil Rights Movement and follows the LGBT RIghts Movement galvanized by Stonewall riots. Then, it delves into some of today’s most explosive and discussed subjects: racial injustice, police brutality, transgender discrimination, LGBTQ homelessness, and the intersection of these issues. The Texas Theatre Premiere FROM SELMA TO STONEWALL, explores Civil Rights and LGBTQ equality movements through the journey of two unlikely friends proving progress are the results of choices we make together. Showing their engagement in response to injustice with reciprocity for equal treatment and compassion gives us immense hope for what we can accomplish in the face of today’s presidential leadership if we just stand up and fight. Together.
