Frack Free Fridays- July 17

Join us for Frack Free Fridays! Every Friday we will have a presence at Vantage Energy’s active frack site to uphold the democratic will of the Denton community. Continuing every Friday until Vantage Energy leaves Denton, you are invited to join us out at the site at 6:45AM sharp!

This week we will include some fun activities and group discussion focusing on strategy. We hope all y’all can come, participate, strategize, and help spread the word to get folks to turn out! We want to start on time to beat as much of the heat as possible, and on that note we will also be providing ice cold drinks and creative cooling accessories 🙂

Denton’s fracking moratorium will be lifted on August 18th, and we already know that Vantage is planning on drilling 5 more wells in the same area as the current Nail Road site (starting in October). We must stay vigilant! Showing up week after week is a really important foundation for our resistance and an important space to build our movement together. See ya there!
