Flash Rally For a Frack Free Denton

Calling all citizens who believe our city council passed an oil and gas ordinance that is unacceptable to the health and safety of our community!

When is enough enough? The residents of Denton clearly demonstrated through the democratic process of voting that we did not want fracking in our city limits. Then we were broadsided by HB 40. Fast forward to Aug 4, when the Denton City Council weakened setbacks and essentially ignored the health and safety of the people of Denton in favor of the industry and developers. I am angry, and I think you are, too. Let’s stand in solidarity against an industry that has no place in our neighborhoods and against a council who refuses to represent we the people.
