Day 2: “Block” Party to Enforce Our Fracking Ban!

Tuesday, June 2nd we will be rallying near the Vantage frack well on Nail Rd (off 380 west of I-35). We will meet at the corner of Spring Hill Ln and Spring Flower Dr at 7am.

Rumor has it Texas Railroad Commissioner Christi Craddick will be making an appearance!

Today three residents of Denton (Tara, Adam, and Niki), were arrested enforcing our ban. All three are out of jail and ready to keep going!

This is what Tara Linn said before her action: “I have more of a responsibility to do what is right than to comply with an unjust law that directly harms my neighbors and I. We are no longer pleading with the oil soaked state politicians who have sold us out at the cost of our health and safety. We are taking direct action to enact the will of the people who voted fracking out of our community.”
